Amazon Baby Registry Welcome Box | Amazon Registry Unboxing and Value

This is definitely a bag rather than a box, but still has several samples/freebies included. Let's jump into what's required, how to redeem, and what you actually get.

Requirements:

  • Get a free welcome box after completing 60% of your registry checklist and have over $10 in purchases from your registry. Amazon shows different requirements even on the same page for the registry checklist with one sentence showing 60% required and another showing 80% required.
  • You MUST BE A PRIME MEMBER to redeem.

How to Redeem:

  • You can check when it is available to you by clicking on the benefits tab of the baby registry on Amazon.
  • When it is available, you can add to your cart. It will show up at costing $35.
  • At checkout, review your payment methods and choose to use the $35 promotional credit to make the baby box free.

What's Included:

  1. Doctor Brown's Options+ Anti-Colic Bottle [$7.99]
  2. MAM Easy Start Anti-Colic + Start Pacifier  [$7.55]
  3. Huggies Perfect Diaper (3 pack) - Size 1 [$1.08]
  4. Water Wipes (10 Pack) [$2.81]
  5. Baby Dove Lotion - Sensitive Moisture (1oz) [ $0.38]
  6. Cetaphil Baby Wash & Shampoo (1.7 oz) [ $1.01]
  7. Gripe Water (0.17 oz) + $1.50 off Coupon [$0.55]
  8. Aquaphor Healing Ointment Baby (0.14 oz) [$0.14]
  9. Hat, Gloves, and Sock Set [~$5.00]
TOTAL VALUE: $26.51

While this is a good welcome box/bag that includes great samples, it doesn't seem to add up to the $35 value they claim. Samples do change over time so I would expect value to change as well. It does also include a reusable bag, but I wouldn't value that at $9. Overall, I'd say it's worth doing if you have prime anyway, but it isn't the best of the freebies available.
