CrowdTap

If you've been following Thriftism at all, you know I love free stuff. I found another great site that allows you to earn gift cards by answering questions and allows you to be a product tester which means, you guessed it -- FREE FULL SIZE SAMPLES!!!

How Does it Work?

Head over to CrowdTap. This isn't a referral link - just a plain old link to the website. Sign up and head to your personalized homepage. Here you will see a list of "actions" or questions/polls to answer. Each one will display how many points it is worth.

Questions typically take only a few seconds to answer, though ones worth more points - like the 20 pointer shown - will take a bit longer. They frequently have brand campaigns that you can apply to test.

How do you points?
Points can be earned by answering questions on your homepage. Points vary but start at 3 points per question.

What do I get with points?
Points earn you gift cards. You can begin to redeem once you hit 1,000 points for $5 gift cards. More points mean higher gift card values. The snapshot below shows about a third of the gift card options currently available.

Can I win anything besides giftcards?
YES! I mentioned brand campaigns earlier. These questionnaires are slightly longer, but many times end with you receiving a full size sample. A few that I've been able to participate in are Java House Cold Brew Coffee Pods (Value~$7.98), Revlon Mascara and Eyelash Curler (Value~  $20.96), and Hershey's Chocolate Spread (Value ~$3.44). What's the catch? You need to leave a review of your free sample. If you don't you can still apply in the future, but you are less likely to continue getting free samples if you don't leave reviews.

How long do questions take?
Questions or polls only take a few seconds. Campaign questionnaires take a bit longer, but still only take a few minutes.

Is it worthwhile?
Each person will have to decide for themselves, but I would say ABSOLUTELY! You get free stuff by simply giving your opinion.
