Money Makers and Freebies

I get questioned frequently on how I earn money at home and how I get so many free things (aka samples). That's why I put together this page! I will continue adding sites to earn money at home and/or get free things to give you the most options. I won't be posting daily samples, but can lead you to pages that will allow you to find samples. Have questions or more ideas that I should be trying? Send me a message!

SAMPLES AND FREEBIES

PINCHme Perks - Get full size samples on Tuesdays and take surveys to earn sample boxes.

CrowdTap - Answer questions to earn gift cards or be a product tester for free full size products.

PPOC Club - Get 100% rebate on amazon items. You buy, they refund you = free to you. They cover taxes and can deposit straight to your bank account.

Home Tester Club - Take brief surveys that qualify you to test products free of charge (no rebate). These products are sent to your house and are usually full size products. You will typically need to give them a review on Home Tester Club or send feedback in order to continue qualifying for free products. A few items I've received are toothpaste, shampoo, face serums, and an electric toothbrush. 

Influenster - This is a review app that periodically sends out campaigns (or free products) for you to complete and review. You will be more likely to qualify if you review more of your everyday purchases on the app. About once a month they send out a survey to see if you qualify for the products they are testing, often beauty products. A few items I've received are colored hair spray, serums, lotions, perfume and cologne. This one is not as guaranteed, but kind of a fun app to use and great for checking reviews on products you are considering. 

MONEY MAKERS

YouGov Surveys - Take surveys on local issues, politics, and brands to earn points. Points can be redeemed for gift cards or merchandise. I typically get around $100 in gift cards every year, but could earn more if I took all the surveys offered.

Rebates

Rebatest - Offers rebates on Amazon products from baby essentials to tools to clothes and everything in between. While they do have an option of refunding for reviews, the one I'd recommend is the report only items. This is where you give feedback directly to the seller and no review is needed on another website. They don't cover your taxes paid on items, but if you were going to buy it anyway, get it almost free. Can pay out within 2-3 of submitting feedback. 

ibotta - Get rebates when you shop. Earn cashback when shopping online or in-stores. In 2020, they had rebates for a free thanksgiving meal that included a turkey, stuffing, cranberries, soda, green bean casserole fixings, and mashed potatoes. You buy, they refund. Items are not always free, often you can get between $0.10 and $5 back depending on the item. Diapers are frequently featured as are many brand name foods. We earned nearly $200 back in November alone that can be redeemed to a bank account, paypal, or to a variety of gift cards.

Removing Lipstick Stain After Drying Clothes

We've all been there. You're pulling out a freshly dried load of laundry when you find that empty chapstick or lipstick. You're devastated that a whole load of clothes is potentially ruined. Fret no more. While this method of stain removal is not fail-proof, it does give you the opportunity to save your favorite khakis or blouse from even the worst of stains. This potentially saves you hundreds of dollars versus buying a new wardrobe to replace that which has been stained and saves you from taking your clothes to a professional. Simple Slow Cooker Broccoli Rice Casserole

Colder weather has arrived as have an abundance of school and work activities. The extra to-dos that come with fall make cooking a healthy and still budget meal much more challenging. Enter the crock pot or slow cooker. Slow cook meals can be both a time and wallet saver, not to mention the benefit of having home cooked meals most nights. Slow cookers allow you to set and forget and can work around everyone in the family's schedules. Scroll to the bottom for a printable recipe. What you'll need 1.5 Cup Rice 6 Cup Broccoli (Chopped) 1 Medium Onion 1 Can Cream Soup (Mushroom, Chicken, Celery, Your choice) 1.5 Cup Milk 3 Tbsp Margarine 3 Cups + soup can Water 1/2 Cup Shredded Cheese (your choice of flavor - cheddar, colby jack, mozzarella) 6 Qt Slow Cooker Start by combining the ingredients except the shredded cheese in a 6 qt slow cooker.
